My name is Anna and I am a Psychologist and a fully qualified and experienced Integrative counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) whose Ethical Framework for Good Practice I strictly follow. I gained my qualifications in both University in Poland and College in England. In my work I concentrate on individuals who are of an adult age. I also have many years of experience working with adolescents in different settings and supporting families in both England and Poland.
I base my work on an Integrative approach which is combined from several models: the Psychodynamic model, the Humanistic model, the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and others, it gives flexibility so I can adjust my work to the clients’ needs. I take into account your individual circumstances and use elements of different approaches which best suit you and help you to explore your problem. I can draw from techniques from different approaches to tailor an approach specifically for you.
I offer long and short term counselling. Short term counselling can be between 6-12 sessions. Ending the therapy is discussed, planned and agreed. Should you wish to terminate the session before the planned ending it is important to meet for an ending session.
I require at least 48h notice of cancellation for face to face session and 24h notice for online sessions. If I need to cancel a session I will notify you as soon as possible by phone or a text message with an alternative date.
